Arabic loanwords in Czech language

The thesis aims at collecting and analysing arabic loanwords in the czech language. The work analyses the phonetcal and phonological aspects of loanwords, the period of the loan and ob the morphological and semantic changes that occured after the borrowing. The aim of this work is to trace the basic and less frequent phonetic and phonological changes in loanwords from arabic.It further on focuses on the main period in which the borrowings took place, beside focusing on the basic roots through which the words were borrowed. The work aslo contains a thorough morphlogical and semantic analysis of the words, thus each word is provided with a saparate analyses, which is followed at the end by a summery of findings
